On the 22nd of January, 2023, about 345 members of the New Apostolic Church in the Agogo district gathered on the hills behind the Asante Akim north district assembly office to attend divine service for the dedication of the church building for the Agogo congregation. This act of dedication was conducted by Lead Apostle Samuel Oppong-Brenya.
The divine service was based on the bible text, Matthew 11:28: “Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
During the service, the Lead Apostle advised that God has given us a great gift as Christians; our Saviour Jesus Christ. He came to this sinful world full of thievery, disappointment and death to save mankind. He added that the church building is a gift to the congregation and should be well taken care of by the members. He tasked the members to spread the word of God to the residence of the Agogo community and beyond.
Apostle Anom Nortey and Priest Kenneth Amfo (rector of Agogo Congregation) assisted the divine service.
