Ministers pose with the Lead Apostle
8 November 2023

On Saturday 28th October, 2023, Lead Apostle Benjamin Ohene-Saffo conducted a joint divine service for members of Assin Nsuta and Dwenamah congregation in the Assin Foso District. This also happens to be the Lead Apostle’s first visit to the Cape Coast Apostle area.

The Lead Apostle appreciated the fact that members chose to be at church instead of attending to their endeavours and expressed how happy he is to lead the congregation of 268 members.

The sermon was taken from 2 Corinthians 11:2; “For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.”

The Lead Apostle began saying: “Just as Paul the Apostle told the Corinthians how jealous he is about them in a godly manner, I and my Apostles are also jealous over you with godly jealousy. It is our duty to ensure we draw you closer to God, and keep you in God’s fold.”

The Lead Apostle highlighted the recent trend of members seeking prophecies and miracles in different churches: “We have to understand that we are striving for a greater reward in Christ and that is Heaven. Chasing prophecies and miracles will sway us from our purpose of service to God and thus delay our blessings.”

Concluding the sermon, Lead Apostle Ohene-Saffo entreated members to serve in truth and always understand that the ultimate goal is to enter heaven.

Apostle Quansah (Cape Coast), District Rectors Aikins, Amponsah and Amoamah supported the divine service.
