On Sunday 5th November, 2023, Apostle Anthony Kuada, on behalf of the New Apostolic Church, presented a wheelchair to brother Promise Habia, a 20 year old physically challenged member at Adaklu Wumenu (Volta South Apostle Area). 

Brother Promise Habia suffered an ailment at age 12. This got him paralyzed. He has since been confined to the ground with disability. In spite of his condition, his parents always manage to lift him to church, sometimes through the help of some energetic persons in the community.

Apostle Kuada came into contact with brother Promise and his parents during a divine service at their congregation at Wortikpo. Having learnt of his predicament, the Apostle made a passionate appeal to the Church Administration for support, the result of which was the donation of a wheelchair to this brother.

The family was full of appreciation to the Church for the timely intervention. They intimated that, the wheelchair will render their son mobile especially in attending divine services.

Apostle Kuada admonished members present not to despair in the face of the challenges life may throw at them. He assured that, the Lord shall provide help at His own time and season.
