Lead Apostle Benjamin Ohene-Sarfo and Apostle Augustus Adika-Lavoe with District Leaders
23 February 2024

Lead Apostle Benjamin Ohene-Sarfo paid a working visit to the Wiawso Apostle Area where he visited the Sefwi Nsawora and Domeabra districts. On Saturday, 17th February, 2024, at Sefwi Nsawora Central and Sunday 18th February, 2024 at Domeabra Central Church.

The Righteous Shall Rise Again
On Saturday, 17th February, 2024, the Lead Apostle spoke to about 120 members in a united service at the Sefwi Nsawora Central church (Nsawora district). He based his sermon on Proverbs 24:16, “For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity”.

Explaining the text word, he said, the righteous are those who obey the word of God. In the Old Testament, the word of God was the commandments. In the New Testament and modern times, the word of God is Jesus. Our belief in Him as our Lord and Saviour, and obedience to His teachings make us righteous.

“We are of flesh and blood, therefore we are not far from sinning. However, once we believe and trust our Lord Jesus Christ, our sins shall be forgiven. And just as we are forgiven, it is our responsibility as Christians to forgive our neighbors their sins also.”

Concluding his sermon, the Lead Apostle said, “Those who do not forgive their neighbours’ sins are not righteous and their own sins shall not be forgiven. They will fall and never rise again. Let us forgive one another so that our sins shall be forgiven by our Father in Heaven.”

Faith, Love and Hope
On Sunday, 18th February, 2024, the Lead Apostle shared a word with members of the Domeabra District from 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3, “We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. We continually remember before our God and father your work produced by faith and your labor prompted by love and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ”.

Beginning his service, he said, “The foundation of the Church is based on faith, love and hope, as written by Apostle Paul to the people of Thessalonica.”

  • Faith
Apostle Paul told the Thessalonian that, they should hold on to their faith. My beloved, without faith, no one can go to the Kingdom of God. We need to have faith in our leaders, for they will lead and teach us the right way, so that we don’t get deceived by false teachings.
  • Love
“It is God’s will for us all to love one another. We should always try to pray for our enemies, because it is only through love and kindness that one can repent and be born again. So, love your neighbour as yourselves, show kindness to the weak and Our Father in Heaven shall also show you love.”
  • Hope
“Many are of the hope that things will go on well for you in your daily endeavours. But do you have the hope of being part of His Kingdom during the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ? We must have that hope, that, during the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, we shall be a part of His Kingdom.”
