The Lead Apostle and his team being welcomed by the Sunday School
18 October 2024

Ghana is looking forward to the long-awaited visit of our dear Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider and his District Church leaders from across the world. A special festive divine service will be held by the Church Leader at the Accra Central church on Sunday 24th November, 2024.

As part of preparations, Lead Apostle Benjamin Ohene-Saffo led a special divine service on 13th October, 2024, at the Accra Central Church. He was joined by Lead Apostle Mark Leno (Cote d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone and Liberia).

The focus of the divine service was based on John 3:17, For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved”.

Truth and reality
The Lead Apostle stressed that until we come to the realization of the truth, the worshiping of our Father in Heaven shall be in vain. “It is not about what we know or think. It is the truth and reality. Christianity is about grace and forgiveness. This is why God gave us His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. The Ghana Leader further explained that no one can attain salvation on his own except for he who accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal saviour. “If we are able to take advantage of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ then we shall be able to make it into God’s kingdom”, he added.

The Israelites were governed by laws and strived to adhere to the laws. But could be justified for eternal salvation because they kept violating the laws.

In conclusion, the Lead Apostle expressed that with Christ we are justified, as we have believed in Him. He also advised members not to condemn but forgive each other and love one another as Christ loved the Church. “This was the example He came to demonstrate to us all. He forgave and asked the Father to forgive us.”

Lead Apostle Ohene-Saffo was supported by Lead Apostle Mark Leno, Apostle Charles Addo Asare, District Rector Emmanuel Mensah and Deputy District Rector John Hammond.
