On Sunday, November 16, 2025, District Apostle Michael Ehrich conducted a festive divine service with members of the Takoradi Apostle Working Area at the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in Takoradi. He was accompanied by District Apostle Helper Apostle Martin Rheinberger, Lead Apostles Benjamin Ohene-Saffo, Marc Saa Leno, Oscar Nwanza Kabanga, and Vincent Yedenou, together with Apostles and Bishops from Ghana, Benin, and Togo.
The service was based on Matthew 24:44: “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
District Apostle Ehrich began by expressing his joy at celebrating the divine service with the congregation. He emphasized:
- The importance of connecting with Jesus Christ through His word and grace.
- Participation in the divine service and Holy Communion as a way of remaining “always in the House of the Lord.”
- Readiness for the Lord’s coming through a life aligned with the Gospel.
Living in Readiness
He encouraged members to:
- Treat one another with love and strive for peace.
- Demonstrate unity and togetherness as a testimony of belonging to Christ.
- Remain steadfast in faith, preparing for the Lord’s return.
- Resist anything contrary to God’s will and stand up for Jesus.
Practical Illustrations
The District Apostle drew on recent and biblical examples to reinforce the message:
- The previous evening’s concert, with songs of light, life, and faith, reminded members of the eternal hope in Christ.
- The story of David facing Goliath illustrated courage and readiness, encouraging believers to stand firm in faith despite challenges.
Be ready
Concluding the sermon, the District Apostle encouraged everyone to be ready for the return of Jesus Christ by living a life that reflects His teachings.
Retirements, appointments and assignments
Eight District Rectors were placed into retirement. Consequently, ten new District Rectors were appointed and fifteen District Rector Delegates were assigned.
Attendance and Broadcast
Over 1,600 members attended, including retired Apostles and Bishops with their spouses. The service was broadcast live on Ghana’s national television station (GTV) and streamed worldwide via the Church’s YouTube channel.
