On the occasion of the last Sunday of the year, the newly assigned Lead Apostle Benjamin Ohene-Saffo served at the Tabora congregation in the Accra West District. The Sunday school children also played a key role on the day as the performed special recitals and sang hymns in the presence of the Lead Apostle.

The text word was taken from Psalm 40:5, “Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done; and Your thoughts towards us cannot be recounted to You in order; if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.”

Count your blessings: “Let us be joined with David the Psalmist as he counts the many blessings he has received from the Lord” began Lead Apostle Ohene-Saffo. “Many of you may think you are not blessed because you have not received a house, car, marriage, child or whatever it is you desired from the Lord. Remember that the sick person in the hospital only needs oxygen to survive, yet you have it in abundance.”

God turns bad to good: The siblings of Joseph thought they were harming their brother by selling him out to traders. God turned their bad into good for him to become the prime minister. This saved them during the time of hunger. “Let us count the blessings of the Lord in our lives and be thankful for what the Lord has done for us. Through this, we will encounter more blessings in the New Year” he said.

We fight not against flesh and blood: “Many are the battles the Lord fights for us. He has been our shield and guide throughout the year until now. Many are those we started the year with and are no more with us but we are fortunate just by His grace” concluded the Lead Apostle.

The Lead Apostle was assisted by District Rector Arhin, Shepherd Thompson, Community Evangelist Boateng as well as Priests Otoo, Sagoe and Tome. As part of the divine service, twelve (12) souls were sealed with the Holy Spirit.
