Concisely, the purpose of this project was to provide water to elevate the standard of living and also to enable the people of Akrofonsu realize how valuable they are to God and to the New Apostolic Church.

Several dignitaries including the Chiefs of the area and the surrounding communities, a representative of the District Chief Executive and the Contractor were all present to grace the occasion. Various speeches were given by the dignitaries to show their appreciation. They also assured the church of proper maintenance of the project. The members of the community were happy and felt blessed to have such an aid. The media were present to take coverage of the program.
